We will be using all available space, so unfortunately, we will not be able to provide child care. If needed, your children are welcome to join you, but please make sure they stay under your supervision.

ADVOCACY SKILLS FOR PARENTS

MON, SEP 18, 2017, 6:45 - 8:15 pm in the MMR

Learn how to speak up for your child with a disability. Become your child’s best advocate and get them the support and services they need in any situation, including in school, in the community, and with healthcare. This event has been organized by the Committee for Students With Special Needs — all parents are invited whether their children are typically developing or have special needs. Learn essential elements of advocacy parents need to resolve disagreements in any system, including entitlements, business, medical or education. Presentation by INCLUDEnyc and is free admission. Please RSVP here.

 


FAIRWAY DOUBLE DAY

Fairway Community Partners cards went home in backpacks this week. Present your card at checkout to get a 3% donation to our school. PTA MEETING AND ELECTIONS

Hear from Acting Principal Buckley, Parent Coordinator Debby Wattenbarger, and your PTA Executive Board members.

We will vote on the 2017-2018 PTA budget—more than $200K in school programs—WOW!  Your donations and volunteer efforts make it happen. Hear about our goals for the year, see what events are being planned, and get involved. We will elect new PTA Executive Board members and new School Leadership Team (SLT) members.

BOO BASH!

Boo Bash is a Saturday evening, Halloween-themed event that is highly attended and super fun for the kids. Enjoy the glow stick dance party, crafts, treats, a witches’ den, face painting, cotton candy, and dance party brought to you by our very own DJ (Coach) Sean!
