The Social Emotional Experience (SEE) Committee of the PTA of PS 154 presents this talk by Neil Weintraub, LCSW (and PS 154 parent!)
Apply wisdom from Sun Tzu's 2,500-year-old military manuscript to contemporary parenting issues. Parents will discuss how to choose their battles and timing, how to avoid power struggles, and how to win without fighting.
Neil Weintraub is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with over 25 years experience working with children from diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings. He is a School Social Worker at an elementary school in Brooklyn. The father of three boys, he also spends his summer at a Sleepaway Camp in the Hudson Valley. Mr. Weintraub maintains a practice in Park Slope Brooklyn with a focus on Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, depression, and parenting issues. His other workshops include, "Helping Children Deal with Anxiety," "Everything We Always Forget about Memory and Other Executive Functions," "Parenting Boys" and "Independence, a Guide for Helicopter Pilots." He is also a PS 154 parent!

MOVIE NIGHT - PETER RABBIT
FRIDAY, JUNE 22, 6:30pm
Surprise! We had so much fun at our movie nights, we want to have one last event before the school year is out. Join us at 6pm for open schoolyard play. The movie starts at 6:30pm. $5 suggested entry per person, plus pizza, hot dogs, drinks, popcorn, snacks and treats available for additional purchase.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES GAME
SUNDAY, JUNE 24, 4pm
PS 154 and the Brooklyn Cyclones are inviting families to put the FUN back in fundraising for the annual, end-of-school year minor league baseball game at MCU Park in Coney Island!
2pm: Gates open, 3:15pm: Pre-game School Spirit Parade (line up in section 24), 4:00pm: Game starts!
